The following recipe yields four servings, if you'd like to adjust the recipe for two servings, simply half the ingredients. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoon sweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 squares (1 ounce) semisweet baking chocolate - broken into pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
Directions
Heat the milk in a small saucepan on low heat until the milk begins to steam. Whisk in the sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until dissolved. Stir in the chocolate until melted. Remove saucepan from heat, and allow to cool slightly.
Beat the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the hot chocolate. Serve immediately.
