McDonald's Needs Help

First off I'd like to inform you all that McDonald's coffee is by far the best fast-food-cafe place coffee I've ever had.  I am willing to go out of my way to choose McDonald's coffee, in fact I walk to school a particular way that has been influenced by a McDonald's location while a Tim Horton's remains across the road from campus.

I'll be first to admit I love getting free things, so naturally, I love the "Buy 7 Get 1 Free" promo.  So far this semester I have earned three free coffees!

The most MAJOR downfall of McDonald's coffee is what they put it in.  They have the leakiest cups of all time.  They leak like something fierce, and I cannot remember them being this way prior to the "Buy 7 Get 1 Free" promo.  (Too much of a good thing?)  And I'm not even talking a few drips here and there, I mean full-on running over your fingers within two minutes of leaving the building, outer cup (if double-cupped) being about 1/4 full after "finishing" the coffee.

On several occasions I have told cashiers that the cups leak, and I usually end up asking for a second cup.  I get varied responses because of this, I'm not sure what causes these responses, but on one occasion in a drive-through when I requested a double-cupped coffee the dude said "But they're insulated!" so I looked at him and said "But they leak...".

Anyhow, I assume the cashiers do not take my complaint any further than the next customer, so today I figured I would email McDonald's and complain.  Funny thing is though, on their website they provide contact info for the phone, fax, and snail mail.  I guess their means of communication are as developed and effective as their coffee cups.

Oh well, I guess what we all learn from this is that if you fall in love with McDonald's coffee, bring your own mug!

Cheers!

I have always had an interest in the blogging world, however I have never successful followed through with one. Perhaps the issue hasn't been my inability to write about things happening around me but more so that I continue to find myself in a niche, only allowing myself to post about quotes or something. This blog is my attempt to remove any form of niche: Blog Salad - pretty much everything in the cupboards and refrigerator..
